Hi Steve,
My thought is that those of us who feel this way need to form a loud voice from our side of the issue, get people to publicly debate it on the cable news shows, etc...and make an ad-campaign about it (eventually). It just takes raising the issue so that the public knows exactly what's going on.

Brian --

I am not sure the outcomes of their policies will be similar.....if there is an increase in taxes as has been stated, and the primary purpose of this is to redistribute wealth, then it is likely that the entire capital formation process and access to venture and angel capital for entrepreneur will dry up or at least be seriously eroded.

As a small business owner, small shifts in the tax code will not drive my overall desire to grow my business. We need a President that can set a vision for this country and get us out of this bunker mentality.

There are differences between the Presidential candidates, but when it is all said and done the outcome of their policies will be similar. Did you ever think you would see a Republican President supporting the measures taken in the recent bailout? There is a difference between campaign talk and the real life results.

In America there is still a lot of opportunity and incentive for the entrepreneur. We are a long way from being like Russia.

Mark Cuban summed it up nicely in his blog.
