Off to the Creation Museum This Weekend September 28, 2007

This weekend, my family and I join three other Park Community Church families to make the trek to Union KY to visit the Creation Museum. Apparently the demand has been staggering and they are running three times the anticipated attendance, having only been open since June.
Designed by a former Universal Studios exhibit director, the Creation Museum presents a “walk through history” in this state-of-the-art 60,000 square foot museum. I am excited to see the museum and the exhibits. We are going to camp in TeePee’s at the Potter’s Ranch, a Christian Camp about 10 miles away. (will they have La-Z-boys and a plasma for the football game? — likely not….)

Is he guilty of doping or is he not guilty?
Yahoo Sports is reporting that the arbitrators in the Floyd Landis doping hearing met for the final time this week and declared the hearing officially closed, meaning a decision on the 2006 Tour de France winner’s fate must come in by Sept. 22. Over the past three months, arbitrators have been sorting through the evidence and collecting additional information from the parties. They met Wednesday and are writing their final decision.
Landis, who has denied using performance-enhancing drugs, would face a two-year ban from cycling and the loss of his Tour title if he loses the case. The losing side has the option to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
